James is the son of the archangel Gabriel and much like his father, fun loving and care free. He still also adores candy, just like Gabriel. But James is a bit different from his father by befriending the others a bit easier than Gabriel. James can be very defensive of his friends and would die to protect them. Though he may love them, he does enjoy being on his own at times.
James was very confused when Gabriel disappeared, and he couldn't help but wonder why he could have possibly done wrong. But he soon learned of the others and put away his own misgivings to help them team up against the Leviathans which have taken over. He is fierce in a fight and someone to be feared if you anger him.
But James is also a very lovable figure whom someone can easily talk to and trust. He likes having a bit of a bigger family so he isn't alone. James can also be a bit sensitive when it comes to emotions at times, not liking to talk about his father disappearing. He prefers to stay focused on the task at hand so he doesn't have to think about it.

Ah, how Gail hated the summertime. The heat that came in waves, the shrieking of children playing in the parks, the noisy chattering of people as they carries on with their daily errands -- it all bothered her so greatly. Gail Menzies, the hoppa (half-white, half-Jap,) with a great reputation for solving the trivial of medical cases, absolutely despised everything that came along with the dreaded season. In addition, it was dry and hot outside. Unfortunately for Gail, that particular day was especially hot; thought to be a more hotter day of the summertime. The said woman was sprawled across the cold ground of her flat, garbed in the lightest of clothing she could find in her wardrobe. Sweat coated her skin, causing her clothes to stick uncomfortably to her limbs and body. Gail groaned in misery rolling onto her side. She struggled to rise to her feet, staggering to the kitchen to get a glass of water. A sour expression had crossed her face, effectively showing her incredible discomfort. Gail snatched an empty cup off the table and poured herself water from the glass pitcher, chugging the drink down as soon as she stopped pouring the cold liquid. Wiping the corners of her mouth dry with the back of her hand, Gail leaned against the counter in agony, feeling the effects of the hot summer day come back to torture her. How she couldn't wait for winter to come. Deciding to end this torture, Gail quickly changed into more suitable clothing for the outside and slipped her boots on, walking out of the flat in an attempt to cool off.
